In our aim to develop new breeding strategies for resilient and added value berries, the BreedingValue project is exploring the market potential and consumer preferences for more sustainable, health-oriented and high-quality strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.

We plan to assess the present state of fruit quality and ascertain predictable future challenges and trends of berry fruit traits. To this end, we are currently seeking input from two different interest groups:

• From consumers on their preferences, needs and expectations in relation to berry quality
• From technical experts on their suggestions for enhancing berry breeding and improving the food chain

We, therefore, kindly ask you to participate in our online survey. The survey is currently available in eight languages (Chinese, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Turkish).
