BreedingValue partners at the XIII International Vaccinium Symposium in Canada
Project presentation at the XIII International Vaccinium Symposium
From August 24th to 29th, 2024, the international community including researchers, educators, producers, and marketers in the Vaccinium industry gathered for the XIII International Vaccinium Symposium in Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada).
As part of the 3-day scientific programme, the BreedingValue project was presented by representatives of the BreedingValue consortium:
Bruno Mezzetti, Coordinator of the Breeding Value project presented the project’s latest findings.
Ebru Kafkas (Çukurova University in Turkey) gave an oral presentation and provided an overview of Blueberry Cultivation in Türkiye.
A poster presentation was done by Salih Kafkas (Çukurova University in Turkey).
Susan McCallum, representing the James Hutton Institute, a key partner in the project, presented a poster and some of her key findings of her research carried out on blueberry.
